On Friday, myself and Kris decided to take a day off work and go and visit Castle Combe Circuit to photograph some motorsport as there was an open track day going on. You never really know what to expect on these days as cars can range from a Rover 45 (standard spec!) to a Dodge Viper to a VW Golf MK I with a VR6 engine to superlight Lotus Exiges.
Seeing the Ariel Atom was really quite special as there are not many of them about and the supercharged Exiges sounded fantastic and they destroyed nearly every other car out there with it’s brutal cornering ability! Best moment of the day was probably watching the blue BMW M3 (pictured above) losing it big time right in front of us in The Esses, thankfully it appeared to only be his pride that was damaged.
