Zoom Burst
I managed to get this shot by taking a photo of my television whilst zooming mid exposure. I was really surprised how good this image was for my 3rd/4th attempt at it!
To recreate this all you need to do is zoom the lens of your SLR during the exposure, this will create a sense of movement, creating an ‘explosion’ effect with streaks of light bursting out of the centre of the frame.
This was taken with ISO 200, f/14.0 and 0.4sec shutter speed. So nothing fancy was required in the way of lens.
