Fantastic.
I have had this problem for two years nearly, and I just didn’t believe this fix.
BUT, after trying absolutely everything else, from everywhere else, I finally thought – Well I’ve nothing to lose – and it actually worked first time with three repeats of the ‘TV’ ‘power’ buttons. So I stored the code thinkng ‘This will not work when I want to turn on again’, but it really does.

Hello again,
See guys, got another problem with my alipe cde-103bt. After replacing cars battery my phone (nokia n95 8gb) does not connect automatically to alpine device anymore. Avery time you have to go to paired deviced and connect (or doing similar thing on phone). It used to connect every time I start the car. Tried unpluging fuses, updating bt software (version 360), unpluging cars battery and so on. But nothings helps.
Though I’ve noticed that if i unplug battery cable just for few seconds alpine does not reset itself but normally connects (once) to the phone
While I was using old battery, every time I start the car, it shuts the stereo down for a second and starts again. But after battery upgrade car has enough power to keep stereo running during car start.
So thats my problem, if anyone has any ideas, pls write it here.

No, I don’t think it does. All the software does is keep the contact book in sync.

I can get my N95-1 with 30.0.015 to sync contacts with my alpine kce 400bt but does not do call history i.e missed/received/dialled? would this software fix this?

I didn’t know how to use it until your very clear instructions. 1 comment, I couldn’t find the little thing I have to click the third leg into, I have a cheesy toy and its hidden, you have to pull it out of a little ‘hole’.

Alpine and Nokia must connected. On the Nokia go to address book. “Mark all” (or some) contacts then “send” via Bluetooth to Alpine. Thats all.

What actual problems did you have?

I’m troubleshooting the error “Unable to log on to the token” for a SID800 token when a machine, on a VPN (Cisco 800 series), boots up. Hibernate works fine as it seems to bypass the start-up sequence. The error is random, or seemingly so and has really got me scratching my head. The keyword Gina has got be me interested too and I’m also tempted to believe there is some time-out issue or bottleneck on boot up.

Let me know if you can help or have any extra details.
